Wash, quarter, core and roughly dice the apples.

Put half of the apples in a saucepan with the oat flakes and the nut milk. Bring to a boil, stir and season with the cocoa powder and Oatmeal Spice. Leave it to simmer over a low heat for about 5 minutes.

Cut off the top of the pomegranate and cut the fruit in half. Break open the pomegranate over a bowl of cold water and tap the skin with a wooden spoon until the seeds fall out. The seeds will sink to the bottom and the white separating skins will float to the surface of the water. Using a strainer, skim off the skins, drain the water, and set the seeds aside.

Roughly chop the pecans.

Divide the porridge between 2 bowls and garnish with the remaining apples, the pomegranate seeds and the nuts.
