Bring a pan of water to a soft rolling boil. Add the eggs carefully and cook for 5 minutes. Remove the eggs and hold briefly under cold running water to stop the cooking process.

Melt the butter in a frying pan and fry the white bread for 2 minutes over a medium heat until golden brown. Season with salt.
