Peel the potatoes and slice quite thinly. Place the slices in a bowl of cold water for around 10 minutes, strain and then pat dry with kitchen roll.

Meanwhile, peel and finely chop the onion. Cut the bacon into cubes.

Heat a tablespoon of the rapeseed oil in a large frying pan and cook the bacon for around 5 minutes over a medium heat until crispy. Add the onion and fry for another 2 minutes. Remove everything from the pan and set aside.

Heat the remaining oil in the pan and add the potatoes. Cover the pan with a lid and fry the potatoes on a low to medium heat for 12–15 minutes, stirring often.

Remove the lid and cook the potatoes for another 5 minutes until crispy. Add the Roast Potato Seasoning, stir through thoroughly and serve.


Tip: Don’t eat meat? No problem, just leave out the bacon.
