1
Peel the potatoes and cut them in half.

2
In a large pot, add enough water to cover the potatoes. Salt the water generously. Bring to a boil and simmer on a high heat for about 15 minutes, or until the potatoes can be easily pierced with a fork.

3
While the potatoes are boiling, melt the butter in a saucepan over a medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Then add the milk and set aside.

4
Drain the cooked potatoes in a colander and return to the pot. Use a potato masher or fork to mash the potatoes until smooth and no lumps remain.

5
Return the pot to a low heat. Gradually pour in the garlicky milk mixture and thoroughly mix everything together.

6
Season the mashed potatoes with the Potato Allrounder. Stir well to distribute the spices evenly.

7
Remove the pot from the heat and transfer the garlicky mashed potatoes to a warm serving dish.

Tip: If you want to serve the mash as a side dish with your Christmas turkey or roast chicken, the garlic cloves can be roasted alongside the bird and then incorporated into the mashed potatoes.
