Wash the red cabbage, cut into quarters, remove the stalk and chop into thin strips.

Peel, quarter and core the apples and dice into little cubes.

Peel the onions and finely dice.

Heat the butter in a large pan and sauté the apple and onion in the pan for 2 minutes.

Add the sugar and sweat for another 2 minutes.

Add the finely chopped red cabbage and deglaze with the vinegar. Then add 350 ml of water and bring to the boil.

Finally, season everything with salt and the Meat & Roast Seasoning and cook over a low heat for about 60 minutes until soft.
