    water
  • 75 g
    butter
  • 3
    eggs
  • 150 g
    plain flour
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • vegetable oil
    for brushing

In a saucepan, bring the water, butter and salt to the boil, until the butter is completely melted.

Leaving the saucepan on a medium heat, add the flour and stir the batter until it is smooth and comes away from the edge of the pan.

At the bottom of the pan, the batter should be starting to brown. When this happens, you know the choux pastry is ready.

Transfer to a bowl, leave to cool briefly and then stir in the eggs with a wooden spoon until smooth.

Scrape the batter into a piping bag with a star nozzle and pipe churros about 10 cm long onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Cut off the ends with scissors or a knife.

Freeze the churros for at least 2 hours until they are firm. This makes it easy to put them into the hot air fryer without sticking.

Brush the churros all over with a little vegetable oil and bake at 180°C for 10–15 minutes until golden brown. Leave to cool briefly.

In a small bowl, mix together the Coffee Kiss and sugar, and sprinkle liberally all over the still-warm churros. Enjoy!
